New IELTS exam fees in India will come into effect on April 1, 2023

The latest fees for the IELTS exam will come into effect on April 1, 2023, as per the recent changes. A recent price has shifted from $15,550 to $16,250.

There are changes in the prices of IELTS exam fees for 2023. The latest fees, as modified by IDP IELTS, are INR 16,250, which is applicable from April 1, 2023.

The test fee varies depending on the type of exam candidates are taking. For both the IELTS Academic and General Training tests, there is a modification in the fees. There is an increase in fees from 15,550 INR to 16,250 INR. However, the test fees for IELTS Life Skills (A1 and B1) were the same at INR 15,350. Anyone appearing for the IELTS exam must pay the fees by demand draught, which is payable from a list of approved banks. Even cash can be deposited in favour of the institute conducting the IELTS test at ICICI or HDFC branches. The main reason for administering an IELTS test is to assess an individual’s English language proficiency. It is divided into four main sections, including writing, reading, speaking, and listening. The IELTS test is widely accepted across major universities in the UK, the USA, Australia, Germany, Canada, and many more.
