Indian School of Business Ranks 40th in FT’s Executive MBA Rankings 2024:

Date:

According to Sunday’s Financial Times (FT) Executive MBA (EMBA) Ranking 2024, the Indian School of Business (ISB) is ranked forty-first. With this accomplishment, ISB becomes the only Indian institute listed in the esteemed rankings. ISB, which now shares a rating with EMLyon Business School, has significantly improved from its prior standings.

ISB’s impressive results are demonstrated by its 8th position in the alumni network and 19th position in terms of pay growth percentage. With a work experience score of 21, the institute promises a remarkable  77% income gain for its pupils. In addition, 27% of the faculty at ISB are female, and 98% of them hold doctorates.

In the FT EMBA Rankings 2024, China Europe International Business School (Ceibs) has risen to the top, overtaking its prior rankings of second in 2022 and 2023. Ceibs’ performance was outstanding, as evidenced by his 102% pay raise and 9 work experience rank.
US-based universities, such as Washington University, MIT (Sloan), Arizona State University, and EMBA-Global: Columbia/LBS, occupy the majority of the top 10 rankings slots. Trium: HEC Paris/LSE/NYU (Stern), IESE Business School, ESCP Business School, and Insead are among the other renowned universities that are listed in the top 10.

With its current rating, ISB has significantly outperformed its performance from the previous year, when it was unable to place in the top 100. But in 2022, ISB came in at number 44. This increasing trend shows ISB’s dedication to providing top-notch executive education.
In the FT’s Executive Education Custom Ranking from earlier this year, ISB came in at number 26, while IIM-Bangalore came in at number 48. With an astounding rise of 64 points, Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) took first place in the rankings.

The FT EMBA Rankings 2024 assessed 100 management schools globally, taking into account variables like overall program satisfaction, work experience, pay increases, and alumni networks. ISB’s impressive performance in these areas further solidifies its standing as India’s top executive education institution.

“This achievement is a testament to ISB’s unwavering dedication to providing world-class executive education,” stated a spokeswoman for ISB. “We are proud to be the only Indian institute featured in the FT EMBA Rankings 2024, and we will continue to strive for excellence in our programs.” The ranking is expected to strengthen ISB’s standing as a top priority for executive education in India and to further enhance its reputation among aspirant business executives.
