Canada has secured the 4th position in the latest U.S. News country rankings for 2024, achieving an impressive overall indexed score of 94.1. This marks the fourth consecutive year Canada has placed among the top five countries globally.

Switzerland took the top spot with a perfect score of 100, followed closely by Japan and the United States. Canada’s strong performance was driven by notable scores in quality of life (94.2), entrepreneurship (81.9), social purpose (97.8), and agility (89.2).

The U.S. News rankings assessed 73 attributes across 10 themes, including movers, quality of life, entrepreneurship, agility, social purpose, open for business, cultural influence, adventure, power, and heritage.
